1000 Islands Poker run

Nichols also made the long-distant trip from
Florida to enjoy the run. Most of these mod-
els were lined along Ontario St. in down-
town Kingston during the Friday Night Street
Party, which attracted countless of spectators
admiring the models up close and personal.
What made the run extra special this year

Reggie Fountain Story, which spans Reggie
Fountain’s 50-year tenure in the world of
offshore.
“Reggie is an icon and has a celebratory
status that still stands today,” Potts told
Poker Runs America. “I felt that capturing
that status would add a great deal to the
documentary as part of Reggie’s 50-year
career. A good place to do that would be at
an event such as the 1000 Islands Poker Run.”

By nightfall, the players were in full party
mode. The slips were busy and downtown
Kingston was even busier. Live music filled
the air, the streets bustled with excitement
and restaurants and bars were standing
room only. During all the excitement, the
players made their way to the poker run

Delta Kingston Waterfront hotel where
they enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and cold
beverages while enjoying the panoramic Micheal Alexander of West Islip, NJ, running his
views of the St. Lawrence River and slips of 32’ Skater, TJA Motorsports.

As many called it an early night, others
could be seen at any given trendy restaurant
downtown Kingston, before reconvening the
next day at the mandatory drivers’ meeting
and Gentleman Start Your Engines at 10:30.
To make a great poker run even bet-
ter is tough to do at the 1000 Islands run.
However, event organizers beat the odds
this year by adding Prescott to the series of
Card stops. While it has been quite some- Dave Scotto’s new SL52 Outerlimits powered
