I would like to take this opportunity to present you this very special 30th-anniversary commemorative edition, illustrating the history of the sport since our very first run in 1987 – a sport which we all share and enjoy so very much.
We have compiled for your enjoyment the history of the past 30 years of poker run events – all drawn from more than 27,000 pages of Power Boating Canada and Poker Runs America magazine archives. The result is a close to 300-page book chronicling the sport.
In these pages, we celebrate the many personalities who have contributed to the phenomenal growth of the sport we all love. As we reviewed the archives, we had the opportunity to reflect on the evolution of performance boating lifestyle and the many milestones the sport has reached over the years.
