In its first year at a new location, the 2016 Miami International Boat Show saw increased traffic and excellent customer response to the in-water and on-land displays at the Miami Marine Stadium.
The venue was a home to many powerboat races through the 1980s. Manufacturers such as Mercury Marine, Cigarette Racing Team, Nor-Tech Hi Performance Boats, Outerlimits Powerboats and Marine Technology Inc., were busy taking customers for rides during the show, which ran February 11-15. Other displays on land included Douglas Marine, which makes Skater catamarans and V-bottoms.
