Staged at the Waterside Marina and the Sheraton Waterfront Hotel in Norfolk and hosted by the Mid-Atlantic Powerboat Association, the weekend-long event attracted 75 boats and raised more than an impressive $35,000 for The Susan G. Komen Foundation for a Cure.

The festivities kicked-off Friday with a fun run to Smith field with a catered lunch, and following an exciting day on the water, the participants enjoyed dinner and the annual – and popular – bikini contest.

That evening – following dinner – the awards ceremony were held where there was special wedding engagement by a couple who met at the run in 2014.

Stay tuned for further announcements of the 2016 dates and more offshore action in the Norfolk region.
