STU HAYIM/JOEY IMPRESCIA SET FOR NPBA’S RECORD RUN AROUND LONG ISLAND!

Performance boating veterans Stu Hayim and Joey Imprescia are once again tackling the challenging waters tomorrow morning (September 3, 2015) at 6:45 a.m. (EST) for the NPBA-Sanctioned Record Run Around Long Island in efforts to break Hayim’s 2012 record of two hours and 11 minutes.

With ideal weather conditions, the event will benefit The Don Monti Memorial Research Foundation in Cold Spring Harbor, NY, and Hayim and Imprescia will be completing the course in Hayim’s new 52’ MTI, powered by 1650 hp Mercury Racing Engines and Number 8 drives. Imprescia’s son Nick will also be onboard.

“With ideal weather conditions, even more power and a larger boat than when Stu ran around Long Island in 2012, they have a very strong advantage for tomorrow,” said NPBA’s Billy Frenz.

Stay tuned tomorrow morning for the final results.
